I was born in southern Pennsylvania and one of my favorite memories was when my mother packed my two sisters and I in the car and drove us all the way to Grandfather Mountain in Boone, NC, so we could see the "mile high swinging bridge" and the mountains where her father and grandmother had been born and raised.
I first moved to NC for college in 1999 and then permanently in my twenties. My heart has always felt most at home in Western NC! I have an undergraduate degree in sustainable food systems, a Master's in Special Education with a focus in Social/Emotional care, and a Post-Master's in Educational Leadership. I've spent the last eight years as a spiritual life coach and entrepreneur, and I first met Lacey when she was entering real estate and I was starting my coaching business - two entrepreneurial women in Asheville!
Perhaps most importantly, I'm a mother to a teenage son. With my "free" time, you'll find me in the woods, writing, making a podcast, or leading women's groups.
Joining LOVE Land & Home was the only option for me when entering Real Estate, which I did because I feel a deep connection to this geographic area and care very much about the future of this region. Because I knew Lacey personally, I knew the ethics she brings to her work - like the LOVE right there front and center in the firm's name!
A family's love, their home, and their connection to the place that they live are three of the most important factors in one's life. It's an honor to help clients in this process.
